Community
Community
If you're a teacher, coach, school administrator, pastor, or just a community member who wants to support kids, we'd love to hear from you! Partnerships with schools, churches, and community organizations are part of what makes Young Life successful. Young Life is ecumenical in nature and affiliates with a variety of Christian traditions - both Catholic and Protestant.
Contact area staff Daniel Vander Woude to learn more about how you can work together with Young Life to enrich the lives of kids in our community.
For more information, you can check out these pages about how Young Life works alongside both schools and churches.
Volunteers
Work Directly with Kids
The work of Young Life wouldn't be possible without volunteer leaders! Our leaders not only run Young Life events, but also invest in the lives of students as mentors and positive role models. Local college students, young professionals, parents, and other concerned adults can all make great Young Life leaders. Please contact us if you're interested in learning more!
Volunteer on the Young Life Committee
Each Young Life area is supported by a group of adults who provide a network of financial, administrative, and moral support for the local Young Life team. Committee members can be parents, Young Life alumni, civic leaders, or anyone else who cares about kids and believes in the mission of Young Life. To learn more about volunteering on the committee, please contact committee chair Kasie Smith.
Donors
A Shared Vision
Our dream is that no kid in the Greater Fairfield area would find themselves alone and without spiritual guidance during one of the most crucial times in their lives. We hope to one day have leaders building friendships and sharing the love of God with both high school and middle school students in Fairfield and each of the surrounding towns. As our area grows, so does our need for financial support.
Your Support
The direct financial gifts of donors account for 100% of our local area's budget. Your donations help our area hire staff and cover expenses such as materials for club and Campaigners, meals shared between leaders and kids, and scholarship money that helps send more kids to Young Life camp. We are grateful for your consideration of making a gift to Young Life and making a difference in the lives of kids in our community!
